‘Sleepless Girls’ is Harry Howard and the NDE‘s new LP and it continues the journey that began with the infectious naivety of ‘Near Death Experience’ (2012) and the wider ranging ‘Pretty’ (2014). ‘Sleepless Girls’ has everything that is good about the first 2 LP‘s — and then some.

Harry Howard was a founding member of Crime & the City Solution (London version) and These Immortal Souls playing bass and occasionally writing. Younger brother of (ultimate cult guitar hero) Rowland S Howard he had also toured Britain as bassist with The Birthday Party (Nick Cave, Mick Harvey etc) in the early 80s and co-wrote ‘Several Sins’ for seminal LP Junkyard. The NDE is a super group of sorts: Harry Howard- guitar, vocals and songwriting (Crime and the City Solution, These Immortal Souls) — Dave Graney – bass — Clare Moore – drums (both from The Moodists, The Coral Snakes, The Mystly etc.) — Edwina Preston, keyboards, vocals (author/musician) Harry Howard and the NDE has performed at the Dig it Up Festival #2 and with The Pop Group, Thurston Moore Band, Kid Congo & the Pink Monkey Birds, and a thousand others we cannot possibly mention here due to space restrictions. The band played many European dates at the end of 2014 and their recordings — 1st Lp ‘Near Death Experience’ (Spooky Records); 2nd Lp ‘Pretty’ (Spooky Records, and Beast Records and Crane Records in Europe) have both been well received. Their third LP is due for release through Spooky and Beast in late September 2016 prior to their planned European shows for 2016 and sees the group at the height of its powers.

Harry Howard – vocals and guitar

Edwina Preston – keyboards and vocals
